Washington state employees, paid breaks - just me

Posted: Jul 27th, 2015 - 6:10 pm

After all these years I decided to investigate Washington state law regarding meal and break periods.   By LAW, employees are REQUIRED to receive a 10-minute PAID BREAK every 4 hrs.  As with all production work, at least my TSM states "log out on your breaks".....  That's not right.

That is Washington State Law!  Nuance cannot pick and choose which state laws they will follow.

I encourage all fellow Washingtonian's to go to the L and I website and file a Washington State Workplace Rights Complaint.  I have worked for Nuance for 3-1/2 years, about 1-1/2 to 2 years as a production employee and have never been compensated appropriately according to our state law.

Let's hit 'em where it hurts -- in their big-ass pocketbook
