of meds, over 20 meds, by a speedy, mush-mouthed dictator. Missing that one with no other errors on the report gets me 90%? And yes, Post Audit of course. Really? Ugh.
I admit it, I probably did miss that last drug (haven't relistened yet)....I do NOT think QA is out to get us. BUT, come on! There is now NO coming back from that 90% even if the rest of the (maybe 0 to 7 who knows) reports audited are 100%.
Just for omitting ONE drug from a long list? Patient safety? Is this the ONLY report on this patient that lists his drugs? They repeat the med list in the H&P, the progress notes, the consultations, the DS.....it might be different if I put an INCORRECT drug......
