Hey, it never hurts to ask. You might start with your state DOL office and see if they recommend an attorney or not. Or you could try one of those attorneys who give a free consult, but be sure they are knowledgeable in employment issues.
These companies need to be taken down and I know a case was made against Medquist before it became MModal about not paying MTs and they lost and the MTs got nothing, except some bogus membership to something. They would have been off with a gift card to Walmart.
You have to know N has a stable of lawyers too, who have sought out all the loop holes. I still would check it out though.
Better yet, quit this horrible place and leave them in the dust. MTs are leaving MM and they are in need of help and no one is coming forth.
