When interviewing I would mention (and it was on the resume and application) the many applications I used at the hospital and things I was responsible for in addition to transcription, and I often got a surprised "You did? I didn't know you guys did all that!" reply.
Though I've left transcription I haven't found my new niche, and I need to 1) figure out what I want to do next and 2) get in a position to do it, because my months of unemployment cleaned out my savings--plus it will be tougher to save now, given my drop in income.
