If that doesn't work out, you can always look for MT with another company. The part about "guaranteed a wage" is just that -- a wage. It will be something okay for the honeymoon period and then it all goes to hell. My company was acquired 3 years ago and it seemed the honeymoon phase lasted about 2 years, give or take. That's when they started really changing things to the negative, with the large culmination happening right before Christmas last year. The new grid is horrible. QA is done in India and it's atrocious half the time. Forget reversals. They're almost impossible to come by. Bail out if you can. Bad employer.
