If you work with SS, I had the same problem. The fix is to close the audio player when finished with a report, and hopefully it will close (mine is sticking).
See if they let you contact tech support to check your audio settings. They should have it set up to work on your PC.
If you can't get support tonight, you might try setting that player as default. Click the Win button and (if using Win 7) click "Default Programs" on the column on the right.
Hope you can get it going. Last thing, it is the type of pedal required by the MTSO, right?
