One doc told us he had his radio on so that we could 'enjoy' the music, or hear the ballgame while we worked!!!! One year for Transcription week the director had a contest for naming the dictating doctor so that others would hear what we had to decipher.
Nowadays these companies are backstabbing for the accounts. They don't dare complain. Cannot tell you how many times it is sressed to NOT put anything in the QA field that is not "professional" and short. Don't want to have anything that will lose the account, even if it is nonproductive and a waste...only to the MT.
