Why Hire Me Then Not Give Me Work After Training? - Waiting

I just don't get it.  Why would they hire me, have me buy Word 2015, go through training, and then assign me to an account.  Two different managers said they were giving my name to other managers for account assignment, but I never hear anything.  I am a second shifter willing to work both weekend days!  They updated my Integra software, too!  Then nothing.  It has been almost 2 months.
