In house we never did a personal 'letter.' That was all considered a consultation and consultation format. Simple. In-house clerk sent the report to the requesting physicians. She was the one who had to get it spot on so that the right Smith was copied to and knew that it was HIPAA compliant. The clerk was the one who still kept her job in the departments and makes now probably 14 dollars an hour and has benefits also. We were all let go.
Letters all day long, some what it in report, some do not, some want a comma, some want a colon, some want closing, some do not, some what copies, some do not, some want headings, some do not. Guess we do have to think that Ping-Pong is said to ward off Alzheimer's. Wonder how good India and the Philippines are doing with all of these rules across the US. Who is researching that? Plus they are having horrible heat to be putting up with more aggravation. Wonder if they post here.
