Work for free?? - democonfusion

I have worked in op notes for a long time. Almost all of the patient demos were already filled in. Now, I have an account where I can spend up to 8 or 9 minutes searching for information.  Why is it that we are not paid for that?  I've never heard of working and not being paid. Maybe I'm missing something obvious?
