He made things better for the rich and harder for the poor. As for big gov't -Let's not forget that American government expanded faster under Reagan than anyone else since FDR, no matter what he said in his speeches. Reagan was a great speechgiver but ramped up the abysmal failure that was the War on Drugs and by the end had his calendar set by his wife's astrologist. He was a great man but people have a tenedency to gloss over the fallout from many of his policies.
That saying, we need responsible people of both parties to stop fighting and work for We The People. So let's start by working together and stopping with the name-calling that we see on this board.
