WOW, I don't know what I looked up but it obviously wasn't that! seriously it was part of a bird!
actually this is what i looked up in the "medical" dictionary!
syr·inx (sîrngks)
n. pl. sy·rin·ges (s-rnjz, -rnggz) or syr·inx·es
1. Music See panpipe.
2. Zoology The vocal organ of a bird, consisting of thin vibrating muscles at or close to the division of the trachea into the bronchi.
