You have no idea about grammnar and punctuation. What you say here has no logic and does not make ANY sense.
How can you be an MT?
First of all it is:
There IS a group of veterans over there.
Group is singular! How confused are you?
IS refers to group, NOT to veterans, the verb must be in singular, as group is singular!
In this case no apostrophe after veterans.
Do you have ANY idea what an apostrophe is for?
