Dear All,
I have been on one huge account for 7 years....now every day NJA....and yet they are actively hiring more and more. I would be interested to know what they are paying for the new hires? How much less can they pay?
All the experienced transcriptionists at a higher rate are being forced out by virtue of no work....all the new hires think the Q is wonderful because all those huge, easy, English-speaking dictators are given to them as I struggle with ESL that should not be allowed to dictate a grocery list, along with the horrible audio, the ASR that gets worse with each upgrade - we will soon be paying them to work!
I hear large bonuses are given to the person in charge of an area for producing the most transcription for the least amount of money paid out to transcriptionists! I wonder if that is true? I bet it is. Plus they take students from the schools for training and I bet they do not pay for them either.
