I know what you mean. I think it all boils down to whether the facility enforces a scripted type of dictation or whether the doctor can just freestyle it. The medical record is probably the most important document they need to get right. However, too many of them just consider it a hassle and don't care how they dictate and just want it over with. I actually think their dictating style goes hand-in-hand with their bedside manner. The better the dictation is the more time they give to their patients. This is just my opinion, however, I've noted this pattern with my IC accounts.
