I am really curious about this internship thing. I did a bit of research and it appeared that they charge a $99 "one time registration fee" and then the "interns" work 3-4 months absolutely free. Does anyone know exactly how this works? It sounds like that is a way for at least some MTSOs to get their work done for free. I have thought for some time that the way the MT industry is headed soon MTs would have to pay for the privilege of working rather than them being paid. Has anyone ever been hired by a company after completing an internship?
