I applied for MT at LabCorp Birmingham AL back in April of this year and was offered a position. However, decided to take a position with a local hospital through the County, which paid slightly more and was less stressful as it is only a 200 bed hospital. I did search on the internet about several complaints from employees with LabCorp in general, not necessarily MTing though. I think the hiring manager at the central office in Birmingham may be a little knit picky though. With the way the economy and transcription is going, I would go for it. I have been working in-house since April and would not trade it for the world. Good benefits, no minimum line requirement, no stress. Loving it. Not sure if it will be that way at LabCorp because back then, they were very very busy and overtime was a requirement of the job.
