...they don't want to fire you, as they will have to pay unemployment. But if they torment you enough and make your job an absolute living hell then the hope is that you will quit. Besides, I'm pretty sure nobody at MQ (management levels and such) has a clue what is going on. The accounts are constantly changing hands and roles are constantly being redefined. It's gotten to the point where I don't even know who to contact for various issues like time cards, time off requests, general questions, etc. I once had a supervisor who was so terrible I finally demanded a phone call and then I told him what a sucky job he was doing and that if he couldn't handle it he needed to work someplace else. He broke down and told me how hard it was and that I had no idea what HIS supervisors were putting him through. I thought he was going to cry. The poor man was just a wreck because of all the disorganization and confusion. Less than a year later he was mysteriously gone and a new supervisor was added to the account and within a few months she mysteriously disappeared also. I had at least 5 different supervisors for that account and finally they offshored it and within the past few months I've bounced around from one crappy ESL/VR account to another. I'm sure that because they pay me a whopping 8cpl for the entire 6 years I've worked for them, they want to be rid of me so they can send my work to India and pay 2-3cpl. Disgusting.
